I’ll level with you here. I don’t really like Ed Sheeran. Though I will say right now that I don’t think that’s Ed Sheeran’s fault. The output is fine, he’s fine. It’s presonally not for me. What I can’t abide is the charts these days being so shattered that he can occupy the whole of the top ten. Sales-wise it’s unanswerable, but I can’t have this thing happening where he’s being considered up there with people like John Lennon and Paul McCartney in the songwriting stakes. See what the estate of Marvin Gaye thinks about it.
Anyway, let’s think more positive (+, see?); as Ed Sheeran songs go, I think this is as good as it’s going to get for me. I do like the song and Rupert Grint in the video is very good. Plus also LEGO. Along with bacon and Christian Eriksen, Denmark’s best exports. Sandy Toksvig and open sandwiches gutted not to get on the podium.
