So where do we stand on this type of thing? I’ve never been in one of these sorts of establishments and never intend to. Stringfellows, Spearmint Rhino…there’s one just down the road from where I live. I can’t remember what it’s called but it’s right next to a Tesco Express. Which actually does bring a little bit of class to proceedings.
My first thought is of questionable moral standing BUT if you look at it as just being a job, then technically women are fleecing dickhead men. So it doesn’t seem quite so bad. Though why would you put yourself through this as a patron? Hey, I’m really hungry, let’s go to a restaurant and look at some food.
I’m not tying to be ‘right on’, I just don’t understand it. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
Speaking of being PC, I’m aware the phrase ‘black madonna’ can be controversial (I know the DJ changed her name). It *is* in the song, though. And the song is purportedly about a stripper.
Am I essentially saying ‘don’t buy this t shirt’? Not sure. The woman’s face is deliberately heart shaped, if that helps?
